Motorcar Parts of America's Torrance, California manufacturing facility has received ISO/TS 16949:2009 re-certification by NSF International.

Motorcar Parts of America’s 130,000 square foot Torrance facility contains the company’s global corporate headquarters, distribution center and technology center. The technology center includes performance-testing labs for proprietary diagnostic equipment. Nearly 70,000 square feet of the facility is designated for product storage.

Motorcar Parts of America’s manufacturing facility in Mexico also recently received ISO/TS 16949:2009 re-certification. The company’s 310,000 square foot manufacturing facility in Mexico was completed in 2007 and employs approximately 2,100 team members. The facility includes manufacturing space, a 123,500 square foot core-sorting operation, extensive warehousing and 35 loading docks.

ISO/TS 16949 is a worldwide automotive technical specification that audits product and process quality. Conducted by NSF International, a world leader in quality management systems registration, ISO/TS 16949 provides a common quality standard for international automotive companies.
