The Aftermarket Auto Parts Alliance awarded NGK Spark Plugs (U.S. A.), Inc. with the status of preferred vendor for their NTK oxygen sensor product line. NGK earned this honor, in part, for its outstanding quality, OEM leadership, and proven dedication to its shareholders, says Wayne Butts, vice-president of product management for the Aftermarket Auto Parts Alliance.

"We are proud to honor NGK Spark Plugs and the NTK Oxygen Sensor brand as one of our preferred vendors," Butts adds.

NGK received this award at the recently held Alliance shareholder meetings in Nashville, Tenn. One of the reasons that the Alliance Group chose NTK is their strong OEM placement, but there are many reasons NTK was give "preferred" status.

"We are honored by this vote of confidence and appreciate the acknowledgement of the Aftermarket Auto Parts Alliance," says Shin Odo, president and CEO of NGK Spark Plugs (U.S.A.), Inc. "Being named a preferred vendor is a testament to the NGK team and our steadfast commitment to provide our customers with superior quality and service."
