Akzo Nobel receives Chrysler endorsement of waterborne products

NORCROSS, Ga. — Akzo Nobel has received approval by Chrysler LLC for use of Sikkens Autowave and Lesonal WB, two products that are VOC compliant waterborne basecoats. 

NORCROSS, Ga. — Akzo Nobel has received approval by Chrysler LLC for use of Sikkens Autowave and Lesonal WB, two products that are VOC compliant waterborne basecoats. 

“Currently all California collision repair centers are required to implement waterborne paints by the end of 2009,” says Akzo Nobel’s Director of Marketing, Tim Loden. “Legislation and social trends are propelling us toward a greener environment.
