Valeo's e-Valve technology is based on a variable valve actuation system that replaces the conventional mechanical system for improved fuel economy, improved engine performance and easier driving. It reduces fuel consumption and CO2 emissions by up to 20 percent while improving low end torque up to 20 percent. The e-Valve system is part of Valeo's Powertrain Efficiency Domain within which the Group develops micro-hybrid systems, thermal management and clutch systems which, when combined, can reduce overall fuel consumption and CO2 emissions by up to 40 percent.
Guideo integrates several functions into one module: a lane keeping and lane departure warning system, a visual recording of the vehicle's trajectory in the event of abrupt acceleration or deceleration, and a warning for the driver when the vehicle in front moves forward, at a traffic light, for example. Guideo is part of an innovative post-equipment range of parking and driving assistance solutions proposed by Valeo, with each product designed to contribute to a safer and more comfortable driving experience.
