That’s because the employees of P.B.E. are now fully vested in the success of their company, having purchased 100 percent of the stock from company founder Richard Rasmussen in an Employee Stock Ownership Plan stock sale.
The company’s success motto was developed to reflect the employees’ commitment to customer service and the high standards of service sought for every customer interaction. That commitment has now earned those employees a share of the company’s success.
“I believe the major benefit in forming the ESOP was giving the employees the opportunity to have a stake in the company, which they helped build,” said Dave Birk, CEO. “With the formation of the ‘Employee Owned’ PBE, I see our employees taking service to another level, with the pride of ownership.”
The new ownership structure has the company poised for more future growth. The Hartford, CT location is the first step in P.B.E.’s aggressive growth plan. “I believe this will position the company well for expanding our footprint in the collision repair industry,” he said. “Our goal is to find solutions to make business more efficient and to streamline operations.
