PartsTrader® has started rolling out its PartsTrader 3.0 release.  As the product release is made available to users, they will see that key aspects of the tool have been enhanced, allowing users to gain even more efficiencies in parts procurement and access to greater reporting tools that help them manage their business.

“The release of PartsTrader 3.0 is a major step in the evolution of the application.  The features contained in this release continue to move both our repairer and supplier users to greater efficiencies in the parts procurement process and the new reports being added will provide managers with tools that help them better understand their business,” said Margaret Ho, Director of Product Management & Integration for PartsTrader.

Major highlights of this release include a re-designed Quote Selection Tool, enhanced management reporting and inventory quoting capabilities.

The Quote Selection Tool has been restructured with this release, saving the repairer time with fewer steps needed to select the quote that best meets their parts requirements.  This release also marks the first of many new management level reports that will provide both repairers and suppliers with greater insight into their business.

The first phase of the time saving inventory quoting system to be rolled out is the Hotlines Automatch integration for recycled parts suppliers, soon to be followed by the DMI data platform integration for OEM dealers. Suppliers will see their inventory inside the PartsTrader application, and be able to quote inventory with a single click. As this product feature is rolled out to include additional supplier integrations in the coming months, suppliers will be able to quote far more efficiently than traditional phone or fax based methods, saving time and selling more parts.

B&R Auto Wrecking is one of the suppliers in the initial pilot testing of the inventory quoting integration.  "The new Hotlines AutoMatch feature in PartsTrader 3.0 is a huge time saver! Responding to repairers’ quote requests is now quicker than a telephone call, and we can quote even more parts because we get the entire parts list," said Ryan Mandell, Manager at the multi-state recycler's Graham, Washington facility.

To assist users with the changes in this release, PartsTrader will host a series of webinars to ensure that customers are able to fully use these new features.  The webinars will also highlight additional functionality incorporated into this release.    Details on the webinars are available at https://www.partstrader.us.com/help/user-webinars/.
