The Alliance of Automotive Service Providers of New Jersey (AASP/NJ) has added a speaker from GM to discuss MyPriceLink at the group's annual meeting later this month.

AASP/NJ is hosting its 2015 Annual Meeting on Oct. 28 at the Gran Centurions Banquet Hall in Clark, NJ.

In addition to hosting an “Industry Overview,” the association has added John Eck, Wholesale Dealer/Customer Care Manager for General Motors, to discuss the much-anticipated MyPriceLink program. GM’s Customer Care and Aftersales (CCA) announced it will launch its MyPriceLink dynamic, real-time collision repair part pricing system through estimating providers and dealer management systems on December 1.

“We had originally planned to limit this meeting to a brief synopsis of our activities and then open it up for a question and answer period — a shop talk kind of meeting,” says AASP/NJ President Jeff McDowell. “But once GM made the announcement that their program will be put into use December 1, we felt we had to get our members educated as soon as possible.”

The registration deadline for the Annual Meeting is Monday, October 26. The cost for this is event is $50 for members and $75 for non-member guests.

To register or to receive additional meeting information, please call AASP/NJ Executive Director Charles Bryant at (732) 922-8909 or email him at [email protected].
