OEConnection LLC (OEC), the parts ecommerce technology leader for original equipment manufacturers’ (OEM) distribution networks, has introduced MyPriceLink, patent-pending, revolutionary technology that for the first time provides the automotive marketplace with real-time dynamic list pricing on original equipment (OE) collision parts based on timing and local market conditions.

MyPriceLink changes the way the industry looks at list prices and how the delivery of those prices can be used to drive pricing strategies.  “Once again, OEC is at the forefront in developing and implementing strategies that move the industry forward,” said Chuck Rotuno, OEC President & CEO.  “In 2007, we introduced our Parts Marketing Administration program to CollisionLink customers.  PMA has become a key piece of the OEMs’ parts sales strategy, resulting in more OE parts being sold, to the benefit and satisfaction of participating dealers, body shops, and above all, vehicle owners.  Today, MyPriceLink continues the evolution of this strategy to aid OEMs in their quest to satisfy their vehicle owners.”

“OEC has simplified a very complicated process by developing a transparent user experience and embedding it into the everyday workflow,” added Bill Lopez, OEC Vice President, Collision & OEM Programs.  “MyPriceLink is a real game-changer, and we thank our buy- and sell-side partners and major stakeholders for their unprecedented and extensive collaboration in helping OEC deliver a truly revolutionary solution.  MyPriceLink compliments our PMA programs; the combination of PMA and MyPriceLink makes for a comprehensive parts strategy for our OEM customers.”

The initial introduction of MyPriceLink includes pricing on GM collision parts and is available to all GM dealers via their OEC Dealer Portal, effective today.  OEC anticipates extending this valuable service to other automotive OEMs in the near future.

Dealers, collision shops, fleets, independent adjusters and insurance companies can now access MyPriceLink through a variety of channels: MyPriceLink in the OEC Dealer Portal, CollisionLink Insurance, CollisionLink Shop or directly through participating collision shop estimating systems.
