OER® — Original Equipment Reproduction, the leading manufacturer and distributor of classic GM and Mopar restoration parts and accessories worldwide, today announced they have expanded their product offering to include products for all of “The Big Three” iconic American muscle car segments by formally activating an all-new restoration parts product line for Ford vehicles. Initially, the company is launching  a classic Mustang restoration parts line in the first quarter of 2019, with plans for expansion into other Ford/Mercury models to include Fairlane, Galaxie, Falcon, Ranchero, Cougar, Comet, Ford truck and Bronco.
How did this OER expansion into Ford come about? In 2018, OER acquired Highway Classics®, a manufacturer and distributor of Ford restoration parts, based in City of Industry, California. After the acquisition and physical move of the company into OER corporate headquarters, OER set about the rebranding of Highway Classics’ Ford restoration parts product line, so the line could be distributed under the OER and OER Authorized® brand names by OER dealers around the world. Ray Yager, Corporate Director at OER says, “The classic Mustang market is a sizeable portion of the Ford restoration parts industry. The acquisition and rebranding of Highway Classics has given OER much-desired exposure into the Ford restoration parts arena. With this expansion we will solidify OER as America’s most trusted leader in quality reproduction parts for classic American-made muscle cars and classic trucks.” In addition to the aforementioned acquisition and rebranding efforts, OER has a sizable number of exciting new products in development for the Ford, GM and Mopar markets to be released in 2019. As OER’s entry into Ford restoration parts segment drives increased competition, enthusiasts worldwide are certain to benefit through more competitive pricing, increased inventory availability, consistent quality control standards, and a more expansive selection of product for the classic Ford owner. Overall, this exciting announcement by OER stands to add immeasurable value to the Ford market as a whole, and the industry will see a significant increase in the availability of restoration parts and accessories for years to come. It’s one thing to manufacture or distribute a reproduction part. It’s another to duplicate the quality. OER focuses on originality, authenticity, and a quality fit and appearance. Get the OER advantage…it’s almost unfair!
