Each school’s collision instructor was able to select $5,000 in Ingersoll Rand products and these in-kind product donations greatly assist in teaching proper collision repair to their students.

Ingersoll Rand Industrial Technologies Marketing Specialist, Vehicle Services Kimberly Versaw noted, “In many cases students are required to purchase their own tools or even share amongst each other in the shop. Ingersoll Rand finds it imperative that students receive quality tools at a great price in order to fill their toolbox for future roles in the automotive, agricultural, or welding industries. The Ingersoll Rand Student Program is designed to do just that; and with the help of the Collision Repair Education Foundation, more schools can provide top-notch tools in the classroom.”

Collision Repair Education Foundation Director of Development Brandon Eckenrode noted, “I would like to thank Ingersoll Rand for their support of the Collision Repair Education Foundation and our Makeover grant program. In addition to this donation, Ingersoll Rand also donated mechanic gloves to the Education Foundation that will help keep collision students safe in their classroom and shop area. It’s only through industry members, like Ingersoll Rand, coming together to support collision school programs and their students will our industry’s future be brighter.”

Industry members that are interested supporting secondary and post-secondary collision school programs through the Collision Repair Education Foundation should contact Director of Development Brandon Eckenrode at 847.463.5244 or [email protected].
