Kadel’s Auto Body raised $21,000 for the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Oregon during its 19th Annual Golf classic June 12. More than 150 golfers and sponsors turned out to support the organization that grants wishes to children with life- threatening medical conditions.

Sign up to receive our weekly news blasts here.Golfers attended dinner afterward where Laila Umpleby, CEO of the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Oregon, thanked the participants and then spoke about the mission of the Make-A-Wish Foundation. Laila concluded her presentation by sharing the story of Arian, a 13 year old boy who’s wish to attend the French Open was adopted using the funds raised at the Kadel’s Golf Classic in 2011.
“I had a marvelous time and I’ll definitely be back next year to support Make-A-Wish,” one golfer said after the tournament.
