Mitchell’s ToolStore integrates with izmocars

Oct. 18, 2012

Oct. 18, 2012—Mitchell International has integrated its RepairCenter ToolStore with izmocars’ vehicle accessories sales platform called AddOnAuto (AOA).

Mitchell’s RepairCenter ToolStore is a tool that allows body shops to connect with trading partners and third party add-on tools to streamline workflow. Mitchell said shops are now able to connect with San Francisco-based izmocars, a provider of automotive sales and marketing solutions, directly within the RepairCenter ToolStore application. The integration is meant to provide body shops with a “virtual showroom” of vehicle accessories to improve customer engagement, accessories sales and workflow.

Mitchell said AOA provides shop customers with a more engaging repair experience. Customers are able to configure their vehicle with specific accessories, and illustrate what their vehicle would look like if they purchased certain accessory additions. Mitchell said the izmocars integration improves the ability for shops to upsell customized accessories and parts, calculate pricing and coordinate installation of accessories during the repair.

"Integration of the AOA system into the Mitchell RepairCenter is a major milestone in the world of body shops," said Sidney Haider, vice president of izmocars. "It can increase body shop sales significantly by providing customers with the ability to enjoy virtually adding hundreds of parts and accessories options customized to their vehicle—and then turn that great virtual experience into a reality—all while enabling increased streamlining of the shop's back end operations. Greater sales plus greater efficiency equal greater profits."
