Solera Founder, CEO Talks Company Goals

May 19, 2016—In an interview with Bloomberg TV, Tony Aquila, Solera Holdings founder and CEO, spoke on the goals and strategies of the company, which owns AudaExplore.

Solera Holdings was recently purchased for $6.5 billion by Vista Equity in a leveraged buyout in an effort to take AudaExplore and its sister automotive technology companies private. 

Aquila said that Solera wants to be the “Amazon of cars,” a one stop shop for everything customers need for their vehicles.  Aquila also talked about the company's “Invent and Acquire” strategy to give customers a better experience by acquiring certain data, while also protecting their information.
