Fisher Auto Parts Acquires KOI

March 27, 2014

March 27, 2014—Fisher Auto Parts and KOI Auto Parts announced a “strategic merger” earlier this week, as Fisher will take a controlling interest in KOI effective April 1.

KOI has revenues topping $200 million at its 72 locations, mostly in Kentucky, Ohio and Indiana.

Fisher now has 470 locations, in addition to more than 100 independent jobbers, in 18 states.

KOI will have “minimal visible changes to customers, suppliers and team members,” according to KOI president Dave Wesselman.

“By obtaining outside investment and partnering up with great people, we plan to take customer service to another level as we implement our strategy of moving ‘Forward in ’14,’” Wesselman said.
