NABC To Give Away Four Vehicles At NACE

July 22, 2014

July 22, 2014—Four vehicles will be donated to Detroit-area families from the National Auto Body Council (NABC) during the 2014 NACE/CARS Expo & Conference, the council announced Monday.

The vehicles will be given away as part of NABC’s Recycled Rides program, where collision repair facilities collaborate with insurers, rental car companies, parts suppliers and manufacturers to refurbish and donate vehicles to families.

The Recycled Rides program, now in its seventh year, aims to promote a positive image of the collision industry. The NABC has given away over 800 cars to families in need through the program.

“Providing reliable transportation to those in need and helping to save lives are the most rewarding ways our collision repair industry can make a positive impact in local communities,” said Chuck Sulkala, NABC executive director. “We encourage NACE attendees to stop by our booth to experience Recycled Rides and the free program in action and to meet some of the individuals who will benefit from these programs.”

The NABC will also host booth No. 17043 at NACE/CARS this year. The council’s booth presentation schedule will be:

Thursday, July 31
10 a.m. – First Responder Emergency Extrication with demo vehicles donated by State Farm.
2 p.m. – Recycled Rides presentation, featuring vehicles donated by Allstate Insurance and repaired by Service King and Tech-Cor.

Friday, August 1
