Tesla Autopilot Gets Update

Dec. 9, 2019—Tesla is pushing a new Autopilot update, according to a report by Electrek.

In a new update (2019.40.2) last week, Tesla pushed several new Autopilot features and improvements, including a new way to adjust speed on Autopilot based on the speed of an adjacent lane.

The update also includes automatic lane-change improvements to be faster and more assertive.

The stop sign warning is an early feature that is part of Tesla's goal to cater to city driving.
