June 24, 2019—After a nine-hour strike that stopped production of interior car parts built for Ford, Fiat Chrysler and Tesla over the weekend, the UAW reached a tentative work agreement, per The Detroit Free Press.

The strike was called at 12:05 a.m. by union leader Chuck Browning, who represents 1,900 workers.

Talks between the union and officials from the company based in suburban Paris extended into the early hours Friday past the strike deadline. The strike disrupted a night shift and a day shift scheduled to begin at 3 a.m. .
