Orlando, Fla., Oct. 5, 2011—CCC Information Services Inc. on Wednesday announced the launch of CCC ONE Repair Methods, a shop software product that integrates OEM repair procedure data into the CCC ONE Total Repair estimating and shop management platform.

CCC ONE Repair Methods includes automated indicators and visual cues that tell repairers when OEM data is available and what type of data is available, according to CCC. The company said that allows repairers to flag relevant data for future reference so technicians will be automatically prompted to review data when they clock into a job.

"Access to repair procedure data is central to high quality repairs, shop reputation and strong relationships between repairers, customers and insurance partners," said Jim Dickens, senior vice president of automotive services group for CCC. "By integrating repair procedure data into our CCC ONE estimating solution, our customers can now click on a button within the same screen to see repair procedures for the vehicle they are working on.”

“The way that Repair Methods are integrated into CCC ONE is a huge step forward,” said Will Johnston of Autobody America. “Speaking for a company that has used many different solutions for obtaining OE guidelines, I can see that this is not only going to save time but it will also enhance compliance and drive more consistent usage across all of our locations."
