Dec. 7, 2018—Nissan Motor Co. said on Friday it will recall 150,000 more vehicles in Japan due to improper final inspections before they were shipped from two Japanese manufacturing plants, reported Reuters.
Nissan has found several non-conformities that may have caused inaccurate pass/fail judgments, according to the report. The latest “non-conformities” involved inspections of brakes, steer wheels, speed measurements and vehicle stability, the company said.
Since October last year, Nissan has recalled more than 1 million vehicles in Japan because of improper inspections.
