June 19, 2018—Chicago Pneumatic released the CP3550 series of grinders and sanders.
The CP3550 series of pneumatic tools includes angle grinders, angle die grinders, and sanders. They are all-purpose built for use in high-volume metal casting and fabrication environments.
The tools have a 1.5hp (1100W) governed motor and can be used for tasks like grinding, chamfering, weld preparation, cleaning, cutting and sanding.
The new angle grinders are available in abrasive capacities, from 4", 4.5", and 5". They have sound and vibration-dampening grips, and a safety lever.
