April 20, 2018—A body shop settles alleged wage violations by agreeing to pay workers $153,000 in back wages and an equal amount in damages, reported Newsday.

The U.S Labor Department sued Farmingdale Auto Collision Inc in 216 after an investigation showed the company failed to pay workers overtime when they worked more than 40 hours per week, according to the report.

The Department's Long Island office conducted the investigation.
