CAWA Partners With TechForce Foundation
CAWA and TechForce Foundation have partnered together to attract more technicians to join the industry, according to a news release.
The strategic alliance will allow CAWA and TechForce to pool their resources for as much outreach to potential talent as possible.
CAWA’s website will promote TechForce’s mission of growing the technician workforce and will be inviting its members to contribute financially to the work TechForce is doing as well as act as ambassadors that speak at different events to raise awareness of the need for technicians.
Members of CAWA will also be encouraged to nominate individuals to share their stories with TechForce to inspire others to follow their career paths. Organization members will have access to TechForce’s resource center to further help them in empowering future technicians.
Additionally, TechForce and CAWA will both help one another in building relationships with tech high schools and post-secondary programs.
“The Board of Directors unanimously supported this new collaboration with TechForce, and we are excited to contribute to promoting and growing the technician workforce as another contribution of the Association to the improvement of the auto care industry,” said Rodney Pierini, President & CEO of CAWA and representative of the Automotive Parts Industry.
