Oct. 11, 2023
The California Bureau of Automotive Repair will be holding a workshop on potential changes for its teardown disclosure requirements.

The California Bureau of Automotive Repair (BAR) will be holding a workshop on potential changes taking place with its tear-down disclosure requirements, according to a press release.

The regulatory workshop will be held on Oct. 19 at the Department of Consumer Affairs in Sacramento, California.

It is a public workshop that will discuss and review proposed regulations that would alter BAR’s requirements for tear-down disclosure, and how that will affect what is expected from transactions performed by collision repair facilities.

Materials for the workshop are available online. The event will have in-person attendance as well as the option to watch on the Webex teleconference platform or on the California Department of Consumer Affairs website.
