LKQ Corporation has completed the acquisition of refinishing and coatings distributor Uni-Select Inc. and its FinishMaster subsidiary, according to a press release.
Headquartered in Boucherville, Québec, Canada, Uni-Select operates across North America through its wholly-owned subsidiary, FinishMaster, Inc., and is also a distributor of parts in the United Kingdom and Canada.
The FinishMaster brand has over 145 automotive refinish stores in the United States and serves 30,000 customers annually.
With plans for the acquisition being put into motion this past February, the deal has now been sealed. LKQ has now acquired all of the issued and outstanding shares of Uni-Select, and Uni-Select shares will soon be de-listed from the Toronto Stock Exchange.
