South Dakota Shop Participates in Fourth of July Event

An Abra Auto Body location in Brookings, South Dakota, recently helped with a Fourth of July celebration for the local community, according to a press release.

Abra Brookings was a co-sponsor for this year’s annual Uncle Sam Jam Celebration event held by the Dacotah Bank Center, which saw 2,500 attendees this year.

The celebration this year included games and live music performed by the Bad Habits Band before concluding with a fireworks show. An hourly prize giveaway was held as well, where a sponsor for the event was recognized each hour.

Abra Brookings General Manager Kyle Lobien said that the shop was more than happy to be involved with the community event, which the Dacotah Bank Center plans to have more of in the fall and winter.

“The real reward is seeing the excitement of the community when they get to connect with one another and share experiences,” stated Lobien. “We love getting involved with local events like this and it helps show the community the friendly faces behind the collision repair expertise.”
