Autel will be offering one-day and two-day training courses next month as it launches its Training Academy, according to a press release.

The classes will be held at Autel’s headquarters in New York and are intended for current or potential owners of Autel ADAS calibration equipment. The first course to be held will be a two-day, 16-hour long course, on July 24 and 25.

The first training course plans to cover using Autel equipment to perform a variety of calibration procedures on different vehicle brands, such as camera and radar calibrations for automatic emergency braking, lane keep assist, blind spot monitoring, and other safety systems.

The course will consist of lectures held in Autel’s 30-seat classroom as well as hands-on training in the newly constructed 2,800-square-foot demonstration and training facility, equipped with the new Autel ADAS Bay Max 14K flush-mounted alignment lift.

“Today, nearly 100% of new passenger vehicles manufactured for the North American market are equipped with one or more ADAS features,” stated Autel’s Vice President of Training, George Lesniak. “With the rise in advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS), learning how to calibrate these systems accurately is more important than ever.”
