Elite Collision Center in Battle Ground, Washington, recently celebrated its 20th anniversary, the Reflector reports.

A public celebration was held for the 1701 W. Main St. shop on June 7. Attendees were treated to a hot dog bar and other refreshments.

The shop was first started in 1991 by the father of company president Kevin Morse and offers a full-service, AAA-approved mechanical shop, a quick lube oil change facility and AAA collision repair services. Elite Collision also utilizes environmentally friendly paints, opting for waterborne paints as opposed to solvent-based ones.

“It’s taking care of the customer and we’re a consumer advocate shop. We’re a lot different than a lot of body shops,” stated Morse. “We’re one of the last ones that are non-DRP. We don’t have any contracts signed with the insurance company. Our philosophy is really simple: We want to do a safe and proper repair and that means doing it the way that the manufacturer wants to do it.”
