VIVE Collision has acquired Vinart Collision Center, the automotive collision repair subsidiary of the Vinart family of auto dealers, located in Allentown, Pennsylvania, according to a press release.
The store will continue to operate under the name VIVE Collision of Lehigh Valley, with more than 40 staff members being acquired with the location. It will be VIVE’s first store to open in the state of Pennsylvania.
Vinart Dealerships will continue to operate the other segments of its retail automobile business under the same name. As part of the acquisition, a long-term partnership agreement was made in which both companies will offer support to each other's operations in the region.
Managing Partner of Vinart Dealerships Andrew Wright said the company was first presented with an offer to divest their collision repair business and to enter a commercial partnership with VIVE around the beginning of the year.
“We are normally net acquirers of assets and businesses, but in this case, the offer was too good to pass up,” Wright stated, via the press release.
