Polyvance Releases New Welding Materials

Polyvance has released three new welding rod materials.

Sept. 4, 2019—Polyvance announced it is releasing three new welding rod materials in response to industry and customer demands.

The materials include R18, R19 and R20. 

R18 is a polypropylene reinforced with 15 percent long glass fiber. R19 is a high-density polyethylene reinforced with 15 percent long glass fiber. R20 is a blend of polycarbonate and ABS (PC+ABS), a rigid plastic that is used on some automotive exterior panels and underhood support panels. 

The R18 can only be used with the nitrogen plastic welder.
