Toyota Recalls Prius Due to Electrical Issue

Nearly 4,000 model year 2019 Prius vehicles are affected by the recall.

Jan. 2, 2020—Toyota is recalling some 2019 model year Priuses for an electrical short issue, per a report by Consumer Affairs.

An electrical short circuit in the combination meter could occur, causing the speedometer, the odometer, and the fuel gauge to become inoperative.

The recall is expected to begin in early February.
