The Paint, Body and Equipment Specialists (PBES) segment of the Auto Care Association has elected Keith Bell, U.S. sales manager for AkzoNobel, as the new chairman. Industry veteran Bell has served on the PBES Committee for eight years and has committed to a strong agenda for the coming year. Suzie Guyer, director of marketing, FinishMaster, was elected to the vice chairman position.  “The annual PBES Conference concluded in mid-May and we are really proud of the positive feedback from attendees, so we are happy to share some of the phenomenal presentations,” said Bell. “The information that was provided by the speakers in our education sessions is a true treasure trove for PBE jobbers,” said Bell.  “Our track record with this event has grown stronger every year, so my first order of business is to set the 2016 Conference location, and get the word out about this great industry resource with the help of our new Marketing Committee. The PBES segment will be looking at several mid-continent cities as possible locations for next year’s conference.” The PBES segment is composed of business owners and executives representing the paint, body and equipment industry’s leading jobbers, warehouse distributors, manufacturers, business services, major program groups and manufacturers’ representatives.
