FinishMaster Inc. announced two acquisitions in New Jersey and California.
Like this article? Sign up to receive our weekly news blasts here.On Dec. 28, 2012 it acquired the Ewing, N.J., location of Mid-State Automotive Paint and Body Shop Supply. Mid-State has been servicing the local collision repair industry for more than 32 years.
FinishMaster also completed on Jan. 7, 2013 the acquisition of the assets of Central Paint and Car Specialty founded more than 20 years ago in Ukiah, Calif.
“These acquisitions expand our footprint in the New Jersey and California markets giving us the ability to better serve our customers", said Steve Arndt, president and chief operating officer. FinishMaster currently operates five other locations in New Jersey and 29 in California.
FinishMaster is a national independent distributor of automotive paints, coatings and related accessories to the collision repair industry. FinishMaster is headquartered in Indianapolis and operates three major distribution centers with 165 branches in 25 large metropolitan areas.
