The quick-connect lid is simply and securely locked onto a spray gun with a click that technicians can hear and feel. With the self-sealing valve, the system eliminates the need to use plugs for transporting, storing or shaking. Three separate seals within the unitized lid and liner assure paint remains inside the cup, which prevents leaks, the company said.
“Paint is a large portion of business for body shops so it is critical to make the process as efficient as possible,” says Biagio P. Pellegrino, Senior Product/Market Manager – Norton Automotive Aftermarket. “The new disposable TORQ Paint System with SpillGard gives shops an edge on efficiency – technicians can prepare the paint in advance and ‘grab and go’ as needed, with minimal clean up.”
The system is packaged in 24-count ready-to-use dispenser boxes. With an extra large filter size and expanded space between the filter and the tower the system allows for increased volume for optimum flow. The self-sealing lid is offered in various filter sizes for both solvent and waterborne paints.
