NAFA Announces Upcoming Webinar

Sept. 29, 2016

Sept. 29, 2016—NAFA Fleet Management Association (NAFA) will hold a webinar on the current and future aspects of cybersecurity.

The webinar, “Fleet Management and the Connected Vehicle” will take place on Oct. 5 at 10:30 a.m. CST.

"Cars and trucks today are more like 'computers on wheels,' as they rely more and more on technology for performance and convenience than ever before," said Phillip E. Russo, CAE, NAFA chief executive officer. "For fleet professionals, the rapid growth of vehicle connectivity presents challenges, as well as opportunities. For all drivers, the way North American roadways—and indeed, global roadways—function will be drastically different sooner than anyone imagines. This is a conversation that NAFA has a duty to be part of."

Speakers for the webinar will be:

  • Patrick O'Connor, president of Kent & O'Connor; NAFA's Legislative Counsel in Washington D.C.
  • Jeff Jeter, fleet manager, Chesterfield County; NAFA Vice President
  • Oleg Cytowicz, global fleet lead senior analyst NA Fleet Ops, Unilever; NAFA's Board of Delegates vice chair
  • Robert Martinez, deputy commissioner, NYPD; NAFA's U.S. government representative
