Aug. 31, 2012

Aug. 31, 2012—CARSTAR Auto Body Repair Experts of Northwest Indiana raised $18,000 for the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Ohio, Kentucky and Indiana during its seventh annual charity golf event.

CARSTAR of Northwest Indiana said the money was raised through individual donations from the 139 participants, and corporate sponsors that included 3M, BASF, CCC, Enterprise Rent-A-Car, FinishMaster and Alkon.

CARSTAR of Northwest Indiana said the $18,000 donation will be used to grant wishes to three children who have been diagnosed with long-term illnesses. One child will be granted with a trip to various Florida theme parks, another child with a Walt Disney Cruise, and a third child with an opportunity to swim with dolphins.

“CARSTAR is humbled to be a part of something this big. It is our honor to partner with so many great people in order to grant three wishes,” said Charlotte Hess, marketing manager for CARSTAR of Northwest Indiana. “We are already looking forward to next year.”
