The two-day “ABS/Stability Control and Traction Control Diagnostics” course helps professional technicians learn to quickly and accurately diagnose a full range of common issues encountered in these sophisticated onboard safety systems.
ATMC each year presents National Excellence in Training awards to industry organizations that best meet the technical education needs of vehicle repair professionals. The 2012 award winners will be honored during the annual ATMC Industry Week Reception, October 31 in Las Vegas.
“The ATMC award is the most prestigious honor for training providers in the automotive service industry. The judges examine every element of a course, from the provider’s objectives, content and delivery methods to the bottom-line results in terms of the new knowledge and skills participants are able to take back to their jobs,” said Mark Baker, manager of product technical services, Federal-Mogul.
Offered several times each year at the Federal-Mogul TEC, ABS/Stability Control and Traction Control Diagnostics (TEC202) details the design, operation and diagnostic requirements of most ABS and stability control systems found on late-model domestic, Asian and European passenger vehicles. The course blends classroom instruction with hands-on learning using a variety of vehicles in the facility’s repair lab.
