The Advanstar Automotive Group, announces a content agreement with Automotive Management Institute (AMI) to produce two educational webcasts during 2011. Each webcast will be 60 minutes in length and presented in a live video format through the Advanstar web portal at SearchAutoParts.com.

"Helping shop owners run their business is more important than ever,” said Michael Willins, content director, Advanstar Automotive Group. "AMI is noted for their outstanding work in delivering relevant management education for owners of automotive service and collision repair shops. We're excited to collaborate with them on our 2011 management education programs in this convenient web format."

The editors of Motor Age and ABRN will work with AMI to produce the free webcasts geared toward the needs of shop owners. Each webcast will include the opportunity for participants to pose questions and get answers. Scheduled webcasts will include: "Turning Green into ROI" in March and "Loss Prevention, Protecting Your Shop" in September.

"We are glad for the opportunity to partner with Advanstar on this new initiative," said Toni Slaton, executive director of AMI. "Bringing much needed management training to shop owners has always been our focus and this online format will only enhance that."

Registration information and specific dates for 2011 webcasts will be forthcoming. Those interested in participating are encouraged to sign up for news alerts to make sure they are informed when details are announced.
