Honeywell Consumer Products Group (CPG) has teamed with it sponsored NHRA driver Cory Mac, Nordic Boats, Full Throttle® and Don Schumacher Racing, to launch a one-of-a-kind promotion: the FRAM® Cory Mac Boat Sweepstakes.
The grand prize winner’s name will be announced at the first NHRA race event of 2009. Featuring a customized paint job that resembles the FRAM Top Fuel dragster driven by Cory Mac, the boat retails at $60,000 and can cruise at speeds up to 70 mph. It also comes with its own extreme custom tandem trailer with torsion axles, disc brakes and chrome rims, according to Honeywell.
Race fans can see the boat and trailer as well as get more information on the sweepstakes, which ends Dec. 31, by stopping by the Honeywell CPG midway display at the Charlotte, Las Vegas, and Pomona NHRA POWERade Series events or by visiting www.cpgraceresults.com. In addition, Honeywell CPG will randomly draw names throughout the promotion and give away autographed 1/24 scale FRAM/Cory Mac die cast model Top Fuel dragsters.
“This whole idea sprouted at the NHRA Sponsor Summit, an event that brings people from different lines of businesses together to share ideas” says Kelley O’Donnell, drector of Global Coolants/ Motorsports Products at Honeywell CPG. “We are really happy to be working with the great people at Nordic and Full Throttle and are thankful to the NHRA for an opportunity like this.”
