The next episode of Collision Hub's live educational video series, Repair University, will feature Nitroheat, the only US built nitrogen paint spray technology available. The episode, “Are You Spraying Your Profits Away?”, will air on August 25 at 1 p.m. Central on www.CollisionHub.com.

Nitroheat will be discussing the methods of decreasing costs in materials and labor in the paint department through the use of nitrogen in the paint and refinish process. This episode will include what Nitroheat consultants have seen in the multitude of shops they have visited and methods to increase throughput, decrease liquid material costs and save on purchasing additional equipment for waterborne curing. They will also discuss the benefits of using nitrogen as the vehicle for paint and the properties that make it valuable for the collision industry.

According to Nitroheat’s VP of Sales Jim McGarry, “NitroHeat is a stand-alone system that converts compressed air to 98% nitrogen; ideal for use in water borne paint applications. Because nitrogen is moisture free, the paint application process is more consistent with heated nitrogen versus compressed air. This results in a superior paint transfer and a higher quality finish, using less material while providing better coverage.”

“Nitrogen use in the paint and refinishing process has become hot topic as shops explore creative ways to cut costs and increase productivity. Collision Hub is thrilled to have the opportunity to provide this and other relevant and cutting-edge free training programs to the collision repair industry,” said Collision Hub Founder and CEO.
