SAN DIEGO — Mitchell International expanded its educational offerings through new "express style" seminars led by Ron Kuehn, a speaker, author and business consultant. The seminar series begins March 10 in Minneapolis and is designed to share best practices with owners and managers of collision repair facilities.

"We understand the obstacles that collision repairers are facing as they try to navigate the turbulent economy,” says Jason Bertellotti, vice president of repair solutions for Mitchell. "With Ron leading the sessions, I am confident that the sessions will be informative and interactive. He has 35 years' experience in the industry and has consulted numerous repair facilities to maximize their potential."

Kuehn, president of Collision Business Solutions, has held positions with I-CAR, Sherwin-Williams Automotive Finishes, and ABRA Auto Body and Glass.

The three-hour seminar aims to remove complexity from shop management by delivering useful, practical and critical knowledge — no matter which management and shop systems a collision repair facility may currently use. Goals are to: reduce total expenses by identifying and eliminating waste; establish standard operating procedures; improve employee accountability and empowerment; remove scheduling limitations to improve throughput and cycle times; and to implement systems that improve productivity and leverage existing cash flow

To register for the Minneapolis seminar, call (800) 238-9111 ext.7831 or e-mail [email protected]. Training to be held in other cities will be announced later.
