STRONGSVILLE, Ohio — More than 11,000 students participated in PPG Automotive Refinish training courses in 2007. The classes, ranging in subjects from technical training to business management, were held at PPG training centers throughout North America and in affiliate locations in more than 100 key markets.

According to Bill Troyer, manager, refinish training, North America, for PPG, on-going training and support is critical for the ever-changing refinish industry. “Providing and delivering training programs that offer our business partners and customers resources with which to achieve their goals is an investment that pays off for everyone involved.”

In line with this philosophy, PPG continues to offer a broad variety of classes throughout 2008. Course categories include: Collision Refinish, including Color (theory and application), Deltron and Global Certification, and Paint Shop Productivity Training; Commercial Coatings, including, Commercial Truck Estimating, Delfleet Spot Repair and Color Tinting, and Delfleet Training, Color Accurate Systems, Commercial Performance Coatings; Custom Painting; Distributor Operations; MVP Business Training and MVP Green Belt Training; and Nexa Autocolor Products

Throughout 2008, courses will be available in 14 PPG Business Development Center locations across North America and in more than 100 other markets.
