According to NHTSA campaign no. 02V132000, some 2002 Jayco 24BTM, 28STM and Talon sport-utility trailers are equipped with an optional, lockable cargo bay wall. If the door is locked with occupants inside the compartment, the only exit is the emergency egress window.

If this window were inaccessible during an emergency, the occupants would be trapped. Technicians will install an additional emergency window in place of the standard window.
