The collected data will be compared to previous benchmarks. Trends over the years will be analyzed, with results published and shared with the industry.

In order to touch the entire industry both within the foundation and I-CAR customer base as well as externally, the electronic survey, which is intended only for shop owners or managers, will be distributed via:

  • Industry publications
  • Information providers
  • I-CAR Industry Alliance partners newsletters
  • Industry co-ops and buying groups
  • Associations’ newsletters
  • Large paint distributors and others

It is estimated that this survey will be distributed electronically to more than 20,000 shop managers and owners (one from each location). An electronic tablet (retail value $400) will be awarded to one randomly selected respondent that successfully completes the survey. All responses will be kept confidential and results will be reported in aggregate; respondents will not be contacted; and the list will not be sold or shared.

Collision shop owners or managers (one per location please) are invited to take the survey here.

Survey questions can be directed to the Collision Repair Education Foundation at info@ed- foundation.org.
