"The California/Nevada/Arizona Automotive Wholesalers' Association continues to improve our
scholarship program, and the 2010 awards total the largest amount of funds we've awarded in the
past 10 years," said Julie Snyder, director of operations, CAWA. "We are pleased to be able to
provide assistance to so many well-qualified and deserving candidates."
Along with Vince Contorno, Annapolis, Calif., the recipient of the Mort Schwartz Award, CAWA
scholarship winners include:

"The recipients CAWA selected are representative of the 375 outstanding applications we received
this year," said Pete Kornafel, Chairman of the GAAS Scholarship Selection Committee. "Through
the efforts of CAWA and other regional associations, along with the supporters of the GAAS
scholarship fund, we are able to assist these students pursuing their dreams of an automotive
aftermarket career."
