ASA to host leadership summit at annual spring event

March 1, 2011

March 1, 2011 — The Automotive Service Association (ASA) will host its second Association Leadership Summit May 10 as part of its annual business meeting and Taking the Hill Day weekend May 9-11.

Mitch Schneider, a collision repair industry veteran, will lead a discussion on the difference between involvement and commitment and the ways associations will have to change to meet the needs of a changing marketplace. The summit is meant to help attendees understand the importance of networking and interaction with industry leaders both locally and beyond.

“We received great feedback from the first Association Leadership Summit, which paved the way for similar events in the future,” said Ron Pyle, ASA president and chief staff executive. “Our commitment to the industry is ongoing and the summit is one way in which all those who support our industry in similar ways can benefit.”

The online registration deadline for the annual spring event is April 7. Click here for more event information.
