Nu-Look Collision Announces Ford Aluminum Recognition

July 27, 2015

July 27, 2015—Todd Zigrossi, president of Nu-Look Collision Centers, announced on Thursday that Nu-Look’s Lyell Avenue location in Rochester, N.Y., has been recognized by Ford Motor Company as an aluminum-capable body shop.

“Achieving this [recognition] has been a major priority for us,” said Zigrossi. “The 2015 Ford F-150s have aluminum-alloy bodies and steel frames. There are specific processes, equipment and knowledge needed to properly repair these vehicles. If an automobile has been in an accident, it’s extremely important that the repairs are done correctly to ensure safety. This [recognition] will allow us to keep the owners of these vehicles – and their families – safe.”

The certification was earned through an extensive process conducted by Assured Performance Collision Care, which handles the Ford aluminum recognition program. Less than 5 percent of collision repair shops have met Assured Performance Collision Care’s criteria. It is the only Rochester-area body shop to receive this recognition.

“We strive to adapt quickly to the newest technologies, processes and equipment in collision repair because our customers deserve the best,” said Zigrossi.

The recognition means that Nu-look has the proper tools, equipment, facilities, and trained staff required to repair vehicles to the manufacturer’s specifications.
