Jan. 18, 2013—The Collision Repair Education Foundation and I-CAR on Friday launched its co-sponsored 2013 Collision Repair Industry Snapshot Survey, which will be used to identify data and trends throughout the collision repair industry.
The survey is intended to poll collision repair shop operators and managers only. The Education Foundation said the survey will be distributed electronically to more than 20,000 repair facilities through various industry publications, information providers, I-CAR Industry Alliance partners, industry co-ops and purchasing groups, associations and paint distributors. One representative from each repair location is eligible to participate.
The data collected from the survey will be analyzed, published and shared with the industry at-large. The data will also be compared to benchmarks and trends revealed through previous surveys.
To take the survey, visit surveymonkey.com/s/Collision_Industry_Snapshot_Survey. All survey responses will be kept confidential, and results will be reported in an aggregate format. Respondents will not be contacted, and the list will not be sold or shared, according to the Education Foundation.
The Education Foundation said an electronic tablet device with a retail value of $400 will be awarded to one randomly selected respondent who successfully completes the survey.
