The Collision Repair Education Foundation (CREF) has announced the launch of 12 Days of CREF-Mas. This campaign aims to uplift and empower future collision repair professionals across the nation.
Last year, the CREF made a significant impact by providing a $10,000 grant to a school that was in desperate need of essential training tools. The school, which had a modest budget of $4,000 for over 100 students, was able to enhance its educational capabilities significantly due to the grant. This set many students on the path to becoming skilled technicians, demonstrating how contributions can change futures, according to the news release.
The CREF is now calling for public support to continue making a difference. A donation of just $25 can enhance educational resources and training for students in the collision repair industry. This not only leads to a more skilled workforce but also improves service standards in the field.
The public is also encouraged to spread the word about the CREF’s mission. By sharing the daily stories of impact on Facebook and Instagram, more people can become involved, leading to a greater collective impact.
In an exciting development, every donation made will be matched up to $10,000, thanks to BASF’s matching gift pledge. This means that a donation of $25 will automatically become $50, doubling the impact on student scholarships and school benchmark grants.
Brandon Eckenrode, the Executive Director of CREF, expressed his enthusiasm about the initiative. “Together, let’s turn the season of giving into a season of meaningful change!” he said.
The 12 Days of CREF-Mas is a shining example of how the spirit of the holiday season can be harnessed to effect meaningful change and uplift communities.
