Welcome to day 2 of CREF-Mas!
The Collision Repair Education Foundation continues its celebration of 11 of its scholarship winners from 2021. Donations from scholarships often come from donors having a specific passion for supporting students through scholarships. In some cases, it is set up as a memorial to honor someone near and dear to the donor.
CREF's next scholarship award comes from the partnership between Driven Brands and the Collision Repair Education Foundation to award the Tim Clark Memorial Scholarships to four fortunate collision repair students.
The Tim Clark Memorial Scholarship was established in 2015 after Tim Clark, a 37-year industry veteran and executive at Fix Auto USA, passed away. As a strong advocate for education and seeking one’s higher purpose in life, Clark left directions and funding to initiate the scholarship, which was embraced by Driven Brands and CREF in an effort to continue his legacy.
On the 2nd Day of CREF-Mas, CREF brings to you…
“During my shop visit, I learned while technicians usually work alone, it's not uncommon to see technicians helping each other or asking each other questions. I liked the atmosphere of the shop, because although they are working on different projects, they are all still a team," he said. "This scholarship will make a difference in my life by allowing me to look past my financial situation and prioritize my studies and work."
