Lincoln Electric Names New General Counsel

Dec. 16, 2016—Lincoln Electric Holdings Inc. announced on Thursday that Frederick G. Steuber will retire from the company as executive vice president, general counsel and secretary in April 2017. Jennifer Ansberry will be promoted to executive vice president, general counsel and secretary. Moving forward, Ansberry will serve as an officer with Lincoln. Ansberry joined Lincoln in 2004 and serves as vice president, deputy general counsel and oversees the company’s legal function in global mergers and acquisitions, securities law compliance, corporate governance, and other general corporate legal matters. Prior to joining Lincoln, Ansberry served as an associate at Thompson Hine LLP and Keating, Muething and Klekamp LLP. Steuber is set to end a 22-year run as Lincoln’s general counsel and secretary. While at Lincoln Electric, Steuber has led global litigation, corporate governance matters, and mergers and acquisitions, among other affairs.
